About Amy

Amy has served in education for 16 years with over a decade in school administration. As a current school leader, she sees firsthand the stress and emotional baggage teachers carry each and every day. She leads with her heart, bringing compassion and empathy to school campuses, district initiatives, and regional organizations. She is excited to share those same values with audiences across the nation.

By focusing on the well-being and sustainability of educators, Amy transforms personal values, campus cultures, and increases student achievement by reminding her audiences to put their needs first so they can truly focus on bringing their best to others… both at home and at work.

Amy earned her master’s degree in Educational Leadership and her bachelor's degree in Home Economics Education. She is also certified to teach elementary school and secondary English. She and her husband, Stephen, have five children, and live in San Antonio, Texas. When Amy isn’t speaking to audiences, you can find her traveling (most likely on a cruise or in NYC), working out, reading, and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
